Following a background in architecture, Lara has designed jewelry for the most prestigious galleries worldwide. It was then that she transformed jewelry by "reinventing the spiral", this new sculptural way of creating a jewel which was a precursor of the current movement. She also created a novel way of wearing it: an earring curls up the ear and becomes sculpture, a loop wraps behind the lobe, another floats above, and a ring is transformed pending on how itâs worn.
More accessible, her new collection Lara Kleoh is defined by two tangents: architecture and dance. Few pieces are variations on designs she had created for the galleries, and while shapes are pure and simple all embody a concept. The effect is always singular and timeless.
